Most people seem to want to know about Holding The Man - The Movie
They have at least started to write a script
The December 1999 issue of Outrage magazine contained an interview with Tony Ayres. It says that he is yet to complete the second draft of the script. He says "I have reached the point with Holding The Man where I wasn't quite sure how to go about getting to the next point, so it's on hold until the end of the year when I have a huge burst of energy and finish some of those unfinished projects"
Tommy Murphy has adapted Holding The Man for the stage. The script is available for purchase from Currency Press
In 2006 the Griffin Theatre Company premiered Tommy Murphy's adaptation of Holding The Man. It will be again be performed at the Sydney Opera House in May 2007. (Thanks to Mick)
